LIMRA Instructions for both Returning and New Registrations regarding AML Training:
Returning LIMRA Registrants: If you have previously registered for LIMRA but you have forgotten your User Name and Password, then go to https://aml.limra.com/LimraLogin.aspx. Your User Name should be the following: the FIRST four letters of your last name and the LAST four numbers of your Social Security number. For example: if you last name is Smith and your SS# is 123-45-6789, then your UN would be: smit6789. If you forgot your password, click on “Forgot Your Password” on the right side of the screen.
Remember to check if your AML training needs to be updated. Please also note that 24 hours after you complete your contracting, you will need to check back on the LIMRA site to see if there are additional carrier specific AML training requirements. Additional requirements will show up as RED highlighted training requirements. After you have completed any additional required trainings, please wait another 24 hours for the updated AML training to be noted on your new carrier contracting.
New LIMRA Registrants: Please note that you must become registered with LIMRA as most major life carriers require AML training through LIMRA. If you need help, you can call United of Omaha on the Sales Assistance line at 1-800-693-6083, or follow these instructions below for a first-time registrant:
Copy and paste this URL into your browser: https://aml.limra.com/nailba_default.html.
Now click on Register Here underneath “I am a new user” and follow the instructions (see below).
Once you have clicked on the Register Here button underneath “I am a new user,” fill in all required information, mark that you work with Brokers Alliance (they are in our hierarchy) and mark the desired life carrier. If you are unsure which carrier to select, here are some suggestions: Phoenix Life, Gerber, United of Omaha, American General, Assurity, Protective and North American:
Be sure to complete your LIMRA AML training as soon as possible. Once you have completed training, then follow the Contracting instructions that WAP forwarded to you on how to contract online with SuranceBay.
After you submit your SuranceBay contracting, then wait 24 hrs and check back into the LIMRA site. The LIMRA site will alert you if any further specific carrier required training is needed. This will show up as RED highlighted training requirements. After you have completed any individual carrier required trainings, please wait another 24 hours so the updated AML training has time to be noted on your new carrier contracting.
