How will I receive a copy of my commission statement?
The statements will be emailed monthly to the email address the agent set-up during their contracting in Sales Sentinel.
What are the broker commissions and are they the same on all plans?
Once a member pays their monthly premium, the agent will receive 6% of that premium on their monthly commission statement. The commission amount is the same for all plans regardless of the plan selection.
Who pays my commissions and when?
Commissions are paid by the health plan in the last week of the month for all enrollments effectuating the first of that month.
Payment will be in the form of a live check due to the carrier’s transition into a new commission system.
*AEP & Renewal Payments:
AEP payments were processed at the end of January and you should have these checks in-hand. Renewal payments should be processed by early March, but a hard date has not been confirmed. We will provide an update when it is available.
Western Asset Protection pays Allegian agency commissions on the last Friday of the month, assuming we have received the statement and payment from the carrier.
There is a $25 minimum threshold in order for a check to be issued.
