Humana is constantly evaluating its provider network to ensure delivery of efficient, affordable and quality health care for Humana members and clients. We take seriously our responsibility to negotiate provider contracts that balance affordability and member access. While we are disappointed we were unable to come to an agreement in negotiations with Baptist Health System, as well as the approach they’ve taken publicly, we are proud of our strong provider network and the wide range of affordable, quality healthcare options offered including many hospitals, physicians, and specialists.
