Individual Medicare (MA/MAPD/PDP)
Before marketing or selling our 2017 Aetna and Coventry Individual MA/MAPD and PDP products, and in order to qualify for commissions, you need to complete several requirements. Make sure you attend 2017 market-specific training for all states and markets where you plan to sell – It’s required
This is a requirement for 2017 and is outlined in the Aetna Medicare Producer Guide. So make sure you complete a 2017 market-specific training for every state and market where you plan to sell Aetna MA/MAPD products. We will monitor completion of this training requirement.
It’s easy to sign up for training. Just go to www.AetnaMedicareAgentTraining.com. After entering your states and contact info, you can view upcoming trainings and register online. At these trainings, we’ll cover 2017 plan benefits* for the local service area, our provider and pharmacy networks, competitive advantages, agent tools and more. We look forward to seeing you.
Deadline to complete 2017 certification to receive renewals
Just want to receive renewals for your existing business?
If you’re just looking to maintain your existing book of business without selling any new business, to continue receiving renewal commissions, you’ll need to complete the 2017 annual certification process by December 31, 2016. For details on this requirement, please see page 61-63 of the Aetna Medicare Producer Guide.

We’ve got a new Scope of Appointment (SOA) form released July 2016. Download your copy here. Be sure to use this updated version when obtaining paper SOAs from your clients in the future.
