When are my commissions paid?
The majority of our agents and agencies are set up for 6 months advance on their commissions, which pays as soon as the policy issues. Beginning with the 7th month of the policy, the commissions are paid on a monthly basis.
A small portion of our agents have had their commissions set up as earned.
Who pays my commissions?
The GTL commissions are paid directly by the health plan. Agents and agencies can check their commission statements online by using the GTL portal. Go to http://www.gtlic.com and click on GTL Agent Login. Enter your username and password and click the Commission Portal link in the middle left of the page. The carrier pays all commission overrides for agencies as well.
